Vance’s Bakery Bar closes
Vance’s Bakery Bar, which made a name for itself amongst fans of both cookies and cocktails for its innovative blending of spirits and sweet treats, has closed its doors.
In a Facebook post made Monday, owners Troy and Amy Adamo announced they had come to the difficult decision to close the business.
“After much blood, sweat, and tears, we have come to the difficult decision to close Vance’s Bakery Bar,” they said in their post. “We thank all of the family, friends, and customers who have supported us on this amazing journey.”
The business opened a little more than three years ago. In their post, the Adamos thanked Augusta for its patronage and encouraged their customers to continue supporting local businesses.
“Thank you, Augusta, for helping our dream come true,” they wrote. “Always support local.”
