20/20 Sports With A.B. – Georgia High School Football, Braves Lose Against Giants, And More

In today’s 20/20 Sports with A.B., he talks about the Braves’ loss against the Giants, the GreenJackets win, and Georgia high school football getting started tonight.

Ashley Brown: Well, last night, the Atlanta Braves batters did not have an answer for Logan Webb. The right-handed All-Star pitcher for the Giants helped San Francisco avoid a four-game sweep, throwing seven and two-thirds innings of shutout baseball.

The Braves now travel to Arizona tonight. They take on the Diamondbacks. First pitch is 9:38. GreenJackets a winner at home over Fayetteville, 6 to 4. Those two teams are back at it tonight at SRP Park at 7:05.

Also, it’s a busy night of high school football around the area tonight. Georgia teams getting underway. South Carolina mostly start next week. Some of the games for you tonight. Evans hosting Thompson. Greenbrier’s at home against Harlem. Lakeside travels to Grovetown. Lainey is at home against West Side. Aquinas traveling to Athens Academy, just to name a few.

And also the Atlanta Falcons for the second straight day, pick up a player to bolster their defense. Ashley Brown, or A.B. as he’s known, is a sports commentator, columnist, and broadcast veteran. He was born and raised in the Augusta area. A.B. attended Lakeside High School and graduated in 1989. After high school, he attended Columbus State University on a basketball scholarship.

A.B. moved back to Augusta after college, where he began his career in talk radio. He continues to provide sports updates for WGAC, while also working as the Director of Customer Service at recteq.
