Pedestrian Struck And Killed On Bobby Jones Expressway
PEDESTRIAN STRUCK AND KILLED BY AS MANY AS TWO HIT-AND-RUN DRIVERS
A pedestrian was struck early this morning on Bobby Jones Expressway and died shortly after arrival at Wellstar MCG.
The Richmond County Coroner’s Office was called to the hospital just after midnight today.
Coroner Mark Bowen said the victim was hit by one, possibly two vehicles, that left the scene.
Pedestrian Struck and Killed hasn’t been Identified
The victim was taken to Wellstar MCG and pronounced dead at 12:44 a.m.
Bowen said positive identification still has to be made. An autopsy has been scheduled.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office hasn’t released any information about the hit-and-run yet.
