Top Performers of the Week 

Jim Franklin (Senior QB) & Jack Rhodes (Junior WR) Aquinas 

Aquinas dropped a tough game to West Laurens 48-38, but Franklin and Rhodes were outstanding. 

Franklin was 19-of-32 passing for 382-yards and three touchdowns. He ran for 105-yards and another score on 13 carries. Rhodes had a monster night as well, hauling in ten passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns. 


C.J. Crite (Senior WR/LB Lincoln County) Cincinnati Commit 

Crite had three receptions for 116-yards and two touchdowns and returned a blocked punt for another score. He also racked up10 total tackles (eight Solo) as Lincoln County improved to 8-0 with a 42-0 win over Warren County. 


Ty Jones (Senior QB Lakeside) 

Jones continues to impress. In Lakeside’s blowout win over Bradwell Institute, he was 8-of-10 passing for 

171-yards and two touchdowns. He also had two carries for 20-yards and one reception for 18 yards. 


Jevon Edwards (Senior RB South Aiken) 

Edwards, the leading rusher in the state of South Carolina, piled up 263-yards and two touchdowns in South Aiken’s 41-14 loss to Midland Valley. 


Owen Redd (Senior Athlete Edmund Burke Academy) 

Redd helped Edmund Burke avenge their only loss last season against Briarwood Academy. Edwin Burke improves to 8-1 on the season and Redd had 15 carries for 210-yards, four touchdowns and three receptions for 48-yards as EBA beat the previously unbeaten Briarwood Academy. 


Kel’Von Scott (Senior WR Burke County) 

Scott crossed the goal line four times for the Bears on Friday night. He had five carries for 36-yards and two touchdowns, two receptions for 28-yards and another touchdown, and he returned an interception for yet another score.  


Jaris Sinkfield (Junior Athlete Thomson) 

Sinkfield touched the ball four times and scored three touchdowns and a two-point conversion. He had a 20-yard rush touchdown, a 49-yard touchdown reception, and a 64-yard kick return touchdown as Thomson crushed Josey 85-0. 


Cam Austin (Senior QB Barnwell) 

Austin led the Warhorses to another win, throwing for 200-yards and two touchdowns on 10-of-13 passing. He also added a rush touchdown to the win.

BJ Grissom (Senior RB Lakeside) Ten carries for 107-yards and a touchdown 

MiKeal Grissom (Senior WR Lakeside) Three receptions for 100-yards and two touchdowns 

Logan Sturkie (Senior WR Barnwell) Two catches, both for touchdowns, and 97-yards receiving 

Jeremy Howard (Junior RB Evans) Rushed for 100-yards and a touchdown in a big win over Greenbrier 

Sean Vandiver (Junior QB Burke County) 8-of-13 passing for 130-yards and two touchdowns 

A’Merre Williams (Senior RB Burke County) Seven carries for 104-yards and a touchdown. and two catches for 41 yards and a touchdown
