Masters ’25: UPDATE: A Very, Very Wet Monday
UPDATE: Play will not resume today at Augusta National Golf Course. Ticket purchasers will be given refunds and offered the opportunity to by Monday tickets for the 2026 Masters.

UPDATE
Due to inclement weather, play has officially been suspended for the rest of the day at Augusta National Golf Club and the grounds will not reopen to patrons.
Augusta National said refunds will be issued to purchasers in May. Additionally, they will be given right of first refusal on Monday tickets in 2026.
"We are disappointed our patrons could not fully enjoy today's practice round, but the safety of everyone at Augusta National is our highest priority and was the determining factor in the decision to cancel," said Fred Ridley, Chairman of Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament.
While the grounds have officially opened up for patrons at Augusta National Golf Club for the first Masters practice round, it's not going to be a great day on the weather front.
Looking outside right now should pretty much confirm that for you, but just in case, the good folks at AGNC have given this update on the way weather should shake out today:
For those keeping track, that's pretty much rain and 10-15 mph wind all day long. So if you're planning to head out there today, an umbrella and rain poncho will likely be your best friends.
But as we all know, a rainy day out at Augusta National Golf Club is better than a sunny day anywhere else.
