Steven Uhles | Augusta TodayA new Goodwill truck now sits at Dave & Buster's in Augusta, offering game perks to those who give. On April 21, 2025, donors can stop by 807 Cabela Drive between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
"This isn't your typical donation drop-off — this is a chance to make an impact and have a little fun while you're at it," said Jennifer Tyner, Vice President of Marketing and Development at Goodwill, to Augusta CEO.
The Earth Week launch brought fresh ways to give back. Opening day donors received 100 game chips with purchase, plus a free space for events. Staff members were ready to assist with items.
At 11 a.m. sharp, the Augusta Metro Chamber marked the opening with a ribbon cutting.
This move aims to extend the lifetime of items that would otherwise end up in landfills while following Goodwill's mission to help families and communities. Last year's gifts helped 90,000 community members.
"We're proud to partner with an organization that is genuinely making a difference right here in Augusta," said George Dey, General Manager of Dave & Buster's Augusta.
