"We are excited to have Josh join the best broadcast team in college football," said UGA senior associate athletic director Alan Thomas per Georgia Athletics. "He will bring great perspective and will be a great fit with Scott Howard."
Through 15 years in sports media, Brock has built a strong track record. His work earned him two GABBY Awards, while his voice carried fans through four state title matchups. For 10 years, he's shared his insights on the Bulldogs Sports Network before and after games. Brock also helped win two Georgia SEC Championships while playing offensive guard from 2002-2005.
The outgoing Zeier, 52, first stepped into the booth in 2007. His own time in a Bulldogs uniform spanned from 1991 to 1994, where he earned SEC Freshman of the Year and later earned first-team All-American status.
The broadcast team keeps DJ Shockley on the sidelines for a fifth year, now working alongside his former teammate, Brock. Fans will hear the new crew's first call when the Bulldogs face Marshall in the 2025 opener on Aug. 30.
