Residents that wish to receive recycling services must register with Coastal Waste & Recycling and pay a quarterly fee. Registration opened on on Friday, Aug 1 and collection will being on Nov. 1.

Weekly recycling collection will occur every week. Registered residents will receive a 95-gallon recycling cart. Collection will take place between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. on scheduled collection days.

To register for recycling, residents can visit coastalwasteinc.com/online-sign-up or call Coastal Waste & Recycling at 706-790-4117.

Recycling can benefit the community, economy, and the environment, according to the federal Environmental Protection Agency, by collecting and processing materials that would otherwise be discarded and turning them into new items.
