Kids outgrow clothes fast. That simple fact sparked a new children's clothing drive project at Aiken County Library. Staff watched as parents traded clothes during story time and other events.

"We saw moms swapping clothes, trading clothes with each other," said Victoria Hodges, a librarian, according to WRDW/WAGT.

This push to help families comes at a crucial time when the local Salvation Army sees more people at its doors. Through daily chats and visits, library workers spotted how many parents needed help with kids' clothes.

With prices climbing at stores, this swap meets a real need. Parents now have a new way to dress their kids without breaking the bank. You can drop off clean clothes during open library hours.
