From an afternoon of sampling for craft beer lovers to an evening of Southern stories or Renaissance Faire revelry, there's something for all. There's also Paint & Jazz Night, MCG's Got Talent, and Summer Fest for even more community fun.
11th Annual Augusta Beerfest
- What: Presentation of beers from over 100 top breweries
- When: Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, from 3 to 6 p.m. (VIP admission from 2 p.m.)
- Where: Bell Auditorium, 712 Telfair St., Augusta
The 11th Annual Augusta Beerfest, presented by ATC Development, showcases over 100 beers from top breweries. VIP tickets offer a souvenir tasting cup, access to specialty beers, and food by Dave & Buster's. General admission includes a souvenir cup and unlimited beer samples. Free designated driver tickets are available, with VIP DD tickets offering food and soft drinks. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster or the SRP Box Office.

Join the Augusta University Writing Project for An Evening of Southern Storytelling: Rick Bragg in conversation with Brian Panowich. Listen to stories and experience Southern charm with Rick Bragg, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of "All Over but the Shoutin'," "Where I Come From: Stories of the Deep South," and his latest, "The Speckled Beauty: A Dog and its People," in candid conversation with acclaimed novelist Brian Panowich about family, tomato sandwiches, and the Southern experience. The evening is sponsored by The Augusta University Writing Project, The Graduate School, The College of Education and Human Development, and the Augusta Authors Club.
A Midsummer Knight's Dream

- Cost: Free
A Midsummer Knight's Dream, hosted at Tavern West, invites you to a Renaissance Faire themed celebration. Lady DJ Gun the Gallant will provide music for dancing and revelry, with songs and tavern tales setting the stage for a night of mischief. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes, with a contest rewarding the most enchanting maiden and gallant knight. Free food, inspired by medieval feasts, will be served. Join in the fun and make memories at this legendary celebration of song, food, and festivity.
