New Goodwill Donation Site in Evans Celebrates with “Stuff the Truck” Drive

A new donation site opened at 703 Fury's Ferry Road in Evans. The site brings together Goodwill of Middle Georgia and the CSRA with Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church.

The site started with a "Stuff the Truck" event, welcoming gently worn clothes, home items, and small furniture. Each item given supports local learning, work skills classes, and job help through both Goodwill and Helms College.

"This isn't just about collecting donations. It's about changing lives," said Jennifer Tyner, Vice President for Marketing and Development at Goodwill, per Augusta CEO. "When someone donates at this site, they're helping a neighbor gain confidence, get a job, or go to college."

The site aims to boost work chances for those who need them. Items dropped off help pay for teaching useful work skills to people who live nearby.

The donation site is open all week. Stop by from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
