Fresh off a dramatic win at Tennessee, the Georgia Bulldogs get an extra week off before they step into a prime-time battle with Alabama as slight favorites at Sanford Stadium.

This much-awaited matchup hits TV screens Saturday, September 27 at 7:30 p.m. on ABC, with Georgia holding a 4-point edge.

At 3-0, Georgia stayed perfect this year. Their latest win? A gut-wrenching overtime battle at Tennessee. The victory stretched their dominance to nine straight wins over the Vols, with five coming on Tennessee's turf.

Now comes two weeks of prep, before a chance to break the Alabama curse. Georgia's record against the Tide tells a tough story - just one victory in their past 10 tries. Their last win during regular play dates to '07, when they stunned Tuscaloosa in overtime.

At home, Georgia stands tall. No team has won at Sanford since South Carolina knocked off the Bulldogs in 2019. Six years of pure dominance on their own field.

ESPN Bet lists Georgia with a slim advantage. Watch for shifts in the odds as kickoff draws near.

ABC will beam this classic rivalry nationwide. When the clock strikes 7:30 Eastern Time on September 27 in Athens, these giants of college football will clash under the lights.
