From the vibrant Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival to a night of laughs with Sheng Wang and the 11th Annual Augusta HBCU 5K Run/Walk, there's something for everyone. Add in karaoke, craft beer fun, and a Soul Asylum performance, and it's the perfect time to get out and explore the city.
Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival
- What: A weekend of world-class music, art, food, and family fun
- When: Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, from 5 to 9 p.m.; Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Where: Augusta Common, Reynolds Street, and along the Savannah River in downtown Augusta
- Cost: $15 in advance, $20 at the gate, VIP available online, and children 10 and under are free
Arts in the Heart of Augusta returns this fall with an impressive lineup. Featured acts include jazz star Niki Haris, comedian Kerwin Claiborne, and Elliot Holden, also known as the Urban Guitar Legend. With five stages, 150 talented artists, international food booths, and family activities, this rain-or-shine festival celebrates art, music, and culture all weekend long at the Augusta Common and Riverwalk.

Known for his laid-back style and hilarious takes on everyday life, Wang has been selling out shows across the country. 11th Annual Augusta HBCU 5K Run/Walk and Health Fair
- What: A celebration of fitness, wellness, and community
- When: Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, from 8 to 11 a.m.
- Where: North Augusta Greene Way, 100 Riverview Park Drive, North Augusta, South Carolina
- Cost: $10 for 12 and under, $15 for ages 13-17, $30 for 18+, and $40 for day-of-the-race registration
Join the 11th Annual Augusta HBCU 5K Run/Walk and Health Fair for a day of fitness, fun, and community. Set along the scenic North Augusta Greene Way, this event welcomes participants of all fitness levels. After the run, discover the Health Fair featuring screenings, wellness resources, and tips for healthier living. The proceeds will support HBCUs, allowing you to stay active while giving back.
