October kicks off with a weekend of entertainment in the Augusta area. Enjoy an unforgettable evening of music with Lyle Lovett, laugh out loud with Mojo Brookzz, or take in art and culture during Free Sundays at the Morris Museum of Art. Plus you could put your gold skills to the test at a charity golf tournament.

Lyle Lovett, a GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter, and actor, has a genre-defying sound that seamlessly blends musical styles, including country, jazz, folk, swing, gospel, and blues. Since his debut in 1986, he has released 14 albums that demonstrate Lovett's storytelling and musical style. This Texas-born musician, who received the Trailblazer Award from the Americana Music Association in 2007, enthralls audiences with songs that reflect the diversity of American music and is one of the most entertaining artists of his generation.

Mojo Brookzz

2025 is shaping up to be the breakout year for comedian Mojo Brookzz. After a standout run on the 2024 "We Them Ones Comedy Tour" with Mike Epps, DeRay Davis, and 85 South Comedy Crew, Mojo continues to rise with headlining shows nationwide. He also featured on VH1's "Wild 'N Out," starred in Tubi's "A Naughty Christmas Story," and appeared in Lil Durk's "Sad Songs" video, which has over 6 million views. With over 3.5 million social media followers and viral characters such as "Mr. James," Mojo is cementing his place as one of comedy's most exciting voices.
