This Friday and Saturday, North Augusta will host 60,000 visitors for the yearly Jack-O-Lantern Jubilee.

Downtown transforms into a Halloween wonderland, with Matthew West and Blues Traveler taking the stage. Visitors can eat from food stands, buy from local vendors, or try their luck on carnival rides. The city will block off Georgia Avenue to fit all the fun.

Shops can't wait for the crowds. "It's one of our busiest nights of the year," said Presleigh Tice, according to WRDW/WAGT. At The Pink Dipper ice cream shop, where she works, guests can try special fall treats like apple pie and oatmeal cream pie ice cream.

The street fair brings new faces to local spots. Antonio's restaurant manager Jordan Crane puts it simply, "We see a lot of first-timers, so that's good for us. Word of mouth also great for us."

Kate Sturdevant at Orange Otter Toys has big plans. Her store will slash costume prices by 25% and set up Halloween displays outside. The past two festivals brought record sales to her shop.

Admission to the event is completely free. Trolleys will also be offering rides all weekend at no cost.
