Augusta University kicks off the 2026 baseball season with a packed 47-game lineup. Starting with a home game against Saint Leo on Jan. 30, the schedule features key matchups, including the start of Peach Belt Conference (PBC) play on Feb. 13.

In their first conference game, the Jaguars face Claflin. Then, Augusta travels to Orangeburg S.C. to take on USC Beaufort, aiming for full Division II status by the 2024-25 academic year.

For the first home conference series, Augusta goes up against Georgia Southwestern. Their next home series will be against Lander in early March.

The schedule includes non-conference home-and-home series against Shorter, Belmont Abbey, Erskine, Southern Wesleyan, Emmanuel University, and Anderson. They'll also visit West Alabama and Albany State. Coach Chris Howell emphasizes the importance of these games, especially the series opener with Saint Leo.

A special highlight will be the USC Aiken matchup revival at SRP Park on March 25. USC Aiken has competed in the PBC since it began in 1990.

In the middle of the season, Augusta visits Middle Georgia for its debut conference series. The team awaits official entry to the PBC, pending Division II approval expected in February 2025.
