These squads play a rematch of their early season battle in Athens, where the Bulldogs prevailed 43-35 in a high-scoring show that kept fans on their feet.
In order for The Bulldogs to secure a playoff victory, they will need to slow down Ole Miss's attacks while keeping their offensive intensity high. Cornerbacks Ellis Robinson IV and Demello Jones will guard against the Rebels' offense, and their man-to-man skills face a stern test. The pair has anchored the secondary during the season's final stretch.
Safety CJ Allen brings zone awareness and run-stopping ability that Georgia needs to slow down what the Rebels bring offensively.
Georgia's offense will need to replicate the same performance from their early season matchup. Quarterback Gunner Stockton tossed five touchdowns when these teams first met, scoring on every single possession in what might've been his finest showing all year.
Malachi Toliver snapped into the starting spot at center after Drew Bobo went down with an injury. He'll need to read Ole Miss's defensive line while keeping things running smoothly up front.
Wide receiver Zachariah Branch arrived as a transfer addition and has seized a bigger role with each passing week. His impact on offense has grown considerably since the season began.
Kickoff happens at 8:00 p.m. ET. You can catch the game on ESPN.
