Brad Stoll Named Manager for Augusta GreenJackets as Club Announces Coaching Changes
The Greenjackets announce the 2026 coaching staff.

The Augusta GreenJackets have moved Brad Stoll from first base coach to manager for the 2026 season. The Single-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves revealed changes to its coaching staff, shaking things up after a transition year.
Stoll becomes the 29th manager in franchise history. He replaces Wynston Sawyer, who got moved up to lead High-A Rome after spending two seasons with the club.
This marks Stoll's first shot at running a team as manager. Last season, he worked as first base coach for the GreenJackets in his debut year with the Braves organization.
Before linking up with the Braves system, Stoll coached at Lawrence High School in Kansas for nearly 20 years. He coached two players who climbed all the way to Major League Baseball: Garrett Cleavinger and Bryce Montes de Oca.
Pitching coach Elvin Nina comes back for his third straight season with the team. Nina has been with the Braves since 2018.
Athletic trainer Dan Gaertner returns for his second year in Augusta and his fifth season with the Braves organization. Adam Wood joins as hitting coach for his first season with the GreenJackets and his fourth year in the Braves organization. Wood spent last season with the FCL Braves.
Jefferson Romero joins after nearly two decades with the Braves organization. Rob Leary brings more than three decades of experience in his first year with the Braves. Noah Polesky will serve as a strength coach in his first season in professional baseball.
The GreenJackets will open the 2026 season on the road in Fredericksburg against the Nationals. The home opener is scheduled for April 14 against the Fayetteville Woodpeckers at SRP Park, with first pitch set for 7:05 p.m.
