Lindsey Pollack, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 glioblastoma on March 10, 2025, is now cancer-free, per her husband, David Pollack. Within hours of the diagnosis, she underwent a six-hour emergency brain operation at Duke University Hospital in North Carolina.

After surgery, Lindsey dealt with partial paralysis on her left side that limited movement in her arm and hand, along with fatigue and low blood pressure. Over time, she made steady gains and soon took her first steps as she relearned how to walk.

David Pollack moved from his role on "College GameDay" to host "See Ball, Get Ball." He has spoken openly about their journey and the role faith played. "We're a year into a battle that wasn't always pretty, and sometimes really scary. But we are thankful to be cancer-free," he said, per The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The Pollacks have shared updates on social channels, thanking the sports world for encouragement. Public figures such as Nick Saban and Pat McAfee publicly offered support.

Videos David posted show Lindsey's gradual improvement. Within five weeks of surgery, she was able to take on light chores and short activities.

More than a year after the initial diagnosis, the family, which is active in the community through the Pollack Family Foundation, continues to focus on recovery and helping others.
