Classical Arts Entertainment will present Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Miller Theater in Augusta this fall. The United European Ballet Company brings this fairy tale to life on stage on Sunday, Oct. 4 at 4 p.m.

Dancers from across Europe make up the troupe. Leading soloists hail from Ukraine, transforming the Brothers Grimm story into movement and music.

Snow White faces off against a jealous Queen. She finds refuge with the Seven Dwarfs. Love battles envy. Good wins out over wickedness in this timeless tale.

Polish composer Bogdan Pavlovsky wrote the score decades ago. His music for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has graced theaters throughout Europe and across the globe. Pavlovsky's score captures each character's essence. The music swells during dramatic moments, softens for romance, and bounces along with the Seven Dwarfs' humor throughout the show.

The production weaves together choreography, costumes, and theatrical scenery. Kids will delight in seeing their favorite fairy-tale characters spring to life, while grown-ups can admire the artistry and storytelling that unfold through dance.

The company bills this as a large-scale production with Broadway-caliber theatrical quality. Every age group will find something to enjoy.

Miller Theater in Augusta hosts the event. Tickets are on sale now for this family performance.
