Aiken Launches 52nd Annual Hopelands Concert Series With Free Monday Night Shows
Aiken’s 52nd Annual Hopelands Concert Series kicked off on Monday and runs until the end of June.

Getty ImagesAiken's Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department started the 52nd Annual Hopelands Concert Series on Monday. Free shows happen at the Roland H. Windham Performing Arts Stage.
Whiskey Business Band played at the opening show on April 6. Concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. in April, then shift to 7 p.m. in May and June.
The lineup has 13 shows total. Acts include bands, ballet, and brass ensembles. The Lady & The Gents will play on April 13. Savannah Sunday takes the stage April 20, while the Aiken Concert Band wraps up the month on April 27.
May brings Heart & Soul on the 4th, The SureFires on the 11th, Savannah River Winds on the 18th, and Aiken Civic Ballet on the 25th.
June kicks off with the Aiken Brass Band on the 1st. Chris Ndeti & H.C.H. Pro perform on June 8. Experiment & I-20 Horns take over on June 15. Shiloh Woods & Chris Reed close things out on June 22, followed by Parris Island Marine Band on June 29 to finish the series. Every performer comes from the local area.
Guests can bring lawn chairs or blankets. Picnics are welcome, but alcohol is prohibited.
Park at the Green Boundary Club at 780 Whiskey Road. Handicap spaces sit at two spots: Rye Patch at 100 Berrie Road and Hopelands Gardens at 135 Dupree Place.
