The Atlanta Falcons will play nine home games and eight road games in the 2026 season. The NFL announced opponents on April 25, per USA Today. Game dates won't be released until mid-May.

Atlanta will host Carolina, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Baltimore, Chicago, Cincinnati, Detroit, Kansas City, and San Francisco at home. The squad will travel to Carolina, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, Cleveland, Green Bay, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, and Washington for away contests.

Five AFC North teams appear on the schedule. Baltimore and Cincinnati will visit Atlanta. Cleveland and Pittsburgh host the Falcons. This marks a full rotation against the AFC North division.

Chicago and Detroit will play at Atlanta's stadium, while Green Bay and Minnesota will host the Falcons in road games that could test the team's ability to perform in colder weather conditions.

Kansas City and San Francisco will both travel to Atlanta. These matchups pit the Falcons against two teams that have appeared in recent Super Bowls. Washington rounds out the away schedule.

The schedule comes after Atlanta selected Avieon Terrell with the No. 48 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The franchise made Terrell their first selection of the weekend, hoping to bolster their defensive backfield.

Tickets for 2026 home games are available for purchase. The specific dates and times for each matchup will be released by the league in mid-May, giving fans a complete view of the season schedule.

Each NFL team plays 17 games during the season. Nine home games give Atlanta one more contest at their stadium than on the road in 2026.
