Augusta University Hosts 21st Annual Brew-N-Que Fundraising Event
Augusta University's 21st Annual AU Brew-N-Que is coming up on Friday, October 4th. This yearly event is a scholarship fundraiser presented by the Summerville Alumni Society. You can support our local university, while enjoying a fun, family friendly night of music and great food. This year's AU Brew-N-Que will include catering from Sconyers Bar-B-Que, along with live music by Brandon Henson. Rita's Italian Ice will also be on-site plus there will be a kids zone with inflatables and face painting. And you'll want to stick around for a fireworks show to end the night. About Brew-N-Que The 21st Annual AU Brew-N-Que kicks off at 5:30 p.m. on October 4, 2024 at the D. Douglas Barnard Junior Amphitheater at AU's Summerville Campus (2500 Walton Way, Augusta). This event is the kick off of Parent and Family Weekend at Augusta University. Tickets are $25 per person in advance, and $30 at the gate. About Brandon Henson Brandon Henson is a local musician from Augusta, Georgia. He is a pop/rock multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter. His music is often described as similar to John Mayer, Matchbox 20, and Coldplay. Brandon's love for music started at an early age, and throughout his childhood he honed his skills in chorus and band. At 13, Brandon found his love for playing guitar and singing. Throughout high school, Brandon played in multiple bands of various genres. Brandon earned his bachelors in music education and moved away from the Augusta area. Once he moved back to the area, he started playing shows around town at bars, restaurants, festivals, and venues.
