Halloween is just around the corner. It’s a day celebrated with parties, costumes, pumpkin carvings, spooky fun, candy, and more. Even leading up to the actual holiday, many organizations and businesses will host events to celebrate. Check out the list of CSRA Halloween events below!
Ways To Celebrate At Home
If you don’t plan to venture out for Halloween, there are still many ways you can celebrate the holiday at home. There’s something for everyone, whether you enjoy scary things or not. Here are a few ways to mark the day:
- Carve pumpkins – Grab the tools you need and create a pumpkin masterpiece. You could even make it a contest to see who can make the scariest or funniest. Some websites even have stencils to make it even easier to carve a fun jack-o-lantern!
- Paint Pumpkins – If carving pumpkins isn’t your thing, or you have little ones you don’t want to worry about hurting themselves, try painting your pumpkins instead.
- Scary Movie Marathon – Grab the blankets, pillows, and popcorn and snuggle up for a night of scary fun with a Halloween-themed movie marathon. You can make this as fun or as scary as you’d like.
- Face And Nail Painting – Pick up some fun face paints and/or nail polishes, and enjoy a night in creating funny or scary looks.
- Halloween-Themed Crafts – There’s no shortage of craft ideas for Halloween-themed fun. This could be a fun thing to do ahead of Halloween to create decor for your home. From simple, kid-friendly crafts to more advanced creations, there are so many things to try.
- Hand out candy – Maybe you don’t have kids to take trick-or-treating, but you can still have some fun seeing the neighborhood kids in their costumes and hand out candy.
