The Thursday Night High School Huddle Weekly Prep Football Recap
For the Love of the Game by Ashley ‘A.B.’ Brown
CSRA HS Football Top Performers
Week 8 (Games Between October 7 – 11)
Performer of the Week
Jaden Wuerth (Sophomore DE Aquinas)
Harlem had no answer for the 6-foot-two 250 pound standout. Wuerth piled up 15 Tackles, five tackles for loss, one Sack and six QB hurries as Aquinas handed the Bulldogs their first loss of the season 12-7. Harlem came into the game averaging nearly 27 points per game but needed a score late in the game to avoid being shut out by Aquinas, thanks to the Herculean effort of Wuerth. He will definitely be the next big Power 4 recruit from the CSRA.

Jones may be the area’s Player of the Year at this point. In Lakeside’s 28-14 win over Greenbrier, Jones was outstanding.
